A front wing bolts to the upper chassis rail, the front panel and the A-pillar, while its wheel arch edge is held by a trim or plastic arch liner. It needs replacing after a side impact at the front, when rust breaks through from the inside, or when cracked clips and brackets no longer hold the trim, which then lifts and catches the wind.
When ordering, state the side (left or right as seen from the driver's seat) and check the OE number. Wings differ in the indicator repeater hole, swage lines and trim mounting depending on year and version, so your VIN removes any doubt. A new wing has to be painted before fitting.
